दिवश्चिदा ते रुचयन्त रोका उषो विभातीरनु भासि पूर्वीः । अपो यदग्न उशधग्वनेषु होतुर्मन्द्रस्य पनयन्त देवाः ॥
Transliteration
dívaś cidā́ te rucayanta rokā́ uṣó vibhātī́r ánu bhāsi pūrvī́ḥ | apó yád agne uśádha gváneṣu hótur mandrásya pánayanta devā́ḥ ||
Translation
天の光の領域さえも、汝のためにその輝きを燃え立たせる。ウシャス（Uṣas、曙光）よ、汝は多くの先駆の光明に従って照り映える。アグニ（Agni）よ、森の中で水々が目覚めるとき、神々は祭司の火の歓喜する炎心を愛で楽しむ。
