Transliteration

vídad yadī́ sarámā rugṇám adréḥ máhi pā́thaḥ pū́rvyaṃ sadhryàk kaḥ | ágraṃ nayat supády ákṣarāṇām ácchā rávaṃ prathamā́ jānatī́ gāt ||

Translation

サラマー（Saramā）が、岩の砕けた裂け目——大いなる太初の道——を見いだし、まっすぐに進んだ（いかにして、まことに？）。彼女は「堅き足」をもつ音節を先頭へ導き、最初に知って、叫びの声のほうへと向かった。
