अग्निर्धिया स चेतति केतुर्यज्ञस्य पूर्व्यः । अर्थं ह्यस्य तरणि ॥
Transliteration
agnír dhiyā́ sá cetati ketúr yajñásya pūrvyáḥ | árthaṃ hy asya táraṇi ||
Translation
アグニは霊感の智（ディヤー）によって目覚め、明覚する。彼は祭祀のいにしえの標（しるべ）、光の炬である。なぜなら彼はこれを彼岸へと渡らせ、その真の目標を確かなものとし――供物の意味と目的を成就させるからである。
