इषुर्न श्रिय इषुधेरसना गोषाः शतसा न रंहिः । अवीरे क्रतौ वि दविद्युतन्नोरा न मायुं चितयन्त धुनयः ॥
Transliteration
íṣur ná śríya iṣudhér asanā́ goṣā́ḥ śatasā́ ná raṃhíḥ | avī́re krátau ví davidyutat nórā ná māyúṃ citayanta dhúnayaḥ ||
Translation
栄光の矢のごとく、矢筒の蔵のごとく、牛を得る戦利のごとく、百の速さのごとく——かくして我らの意志（クラトゥ）は閃いた。されど誓願に英雄なきとき、揺らぐ諸力はその叫びを聴かず、苦悶の努めをも識らない。
