स इद्वने नमस्युभिर्वचस्यते चारु जनेषु प्रब्रुवाण इन्द्रियम् । वृषा छन्दुर्भवति हर्यतो वृषा क्षेमेण धेनां मघवा यदिन्वति ॥

sa íd váne namasyúbhir vacasyate cā́ru jáneṣu prabruvāṇá indríyam | vṛ́ṣā chándur bhavati haryató vṛ́ṣā kṣémēṇa dhénāṃ maghávā yád invati ||

彼は林の住処において、礼拝する者らによって歌われる。人々の中で、愛でたきものとしてインドラの力(インドリヤ)を宣べ告げる。雄牛として、志す者の歓喜の悦びとなり、また雄牛として、寛大なる者は安らぎによって豊穣の乳牛を駆り立て――養いの流れを搾り出す。
