AV 6.25は、アタルヴァン系の簡潔な逐出呪であり、vākāḥと名指される群集する病の働き手を追い払う。彼らは群がり押し寄せる力として想像され、頸や肩など特定の関節を「圧迫する」ものとして、患者の領域から放逐されねばならない。五／五十、七／七十、九／九十という増幅する群数でそれらを列挙することにより、讃歌は儀礼的に病霊を「数え出して」散らし、brahman（効力ある言葉・成就する言説）の遂行力によって治癒を封印する。その力は厭勝的で、病と取引するのではなく、「ここから」消え去れと強い退散句で命じる。

（これは）憤怒を滅する呪：五つ、また五十が、憤怒となって集まり襲いかかる。それらすべてがここより滅び去れ、放し飼いの牛が散り迷うように。

स॒प्त च॒ याः स॑प्त॒तिश्च॑ सं॒यन्ति॒ ग्रैव्या॑ अ॒भि। इ॒तस्ताः सर्वा॑ नश्यन्तु वा॒का अ॑प॒चिता॑मिव
七つのもの、また七十のものが、集まりて首（うなじ）に迫りかかる——ここより、それら一切のヴァーカー（Vākā）の病いよ消え去れ。やせ衰えの病の斑（まだら）が退くがごとく。
