सह॑स्रधाम॒न् विशि॑खा॒न् विग्री॑वां छायया॒ त्वम्। प्रति॑ स्म च॒क्रुषे॑ कृ॒त्यां प्रि॒यां प्रि॒याव॑ते हर
sahásradhāman víśikhān vígrīvāṃ chāyáyā tvám | práti sma cakrúṣe kṛtyā́ṃ priyā́ṃ priyā́vate hara ||
O thou of thousand dwelling-places, with thy shadow make it crestless, make it neckless. Thou verily hast turned back the witchcraft—bear thou the dear one to him that holds it dear.
千の住処をもつ者(sahasradhāman)よ、汝の影によってそれを冠なきもの(viśikhān)とし、頸なきもの(vigrīvām)とせよ。まことに汝は呪作(kṛtyā)を退け返した。愛しき者を、愛する者のもとへ運べ。
