Sukta 125
कु॒विद॒ङ्ग यव॑मन्तो॒ यवं॑ चि॒द् यथा॒ दान्त्य॑नुपू॒र्वं वि॒यूय॑ । इ॒हेहै॑षां कृणुहि॒ भोज॑नानि॒ ये ब॒र्हिषो॒ नमो॑वृक्तिं॒ न ज॒ग्मुः
kúvid áṅga yávamanto yávaṃ cid yáthā dā́nti anupūrváṃ viyū́ya | ihéháiṣāṃ kṛṇuhi bhójanāni yé barhíṣo námo-vṛktiṃ ná jagmúḥ
May it be, pray, that the barley-wealthy, even barley itself, give in ordered course, in portions. Here—here—do thou prepare for these their banquets, who have not attained the due observance of homage at the sacred grass.
どうか、大麦に富む者たち——大麦そのものさえも——が、順序正しく、分け与えられますように。ここに、ここに、汝は彼らのために饗宴の食を整えよ——祭草(barhis)の前で、しかるべき敬礼の作法(namo-vṛkti)に到らなかった者たちのために。
