Is mantra mein Soma ki tareef hai jab wo dabaaya jaata hai. Soma ooni filter se hota hua tezi se aage badhta hai. Jaise rath jeet ke liye daudta hai, waise hi Soma bhi daudta hai. Devta aur saat nadiyaan milkar Soma ko saaf karte hain. Isse Soma ek aisi cheez ban jaata hai jo sabko pasand aati hai. Wo logon ko taqat aur khana deta hai.

Mantra 1
परि सुवानो हरिरंशुः पवित्रे रथो न सर्जि सनये हियानः । आपच्छ्लोकमिन्द्रियं पूयमानः प्रति देवाँ अजुषत प्रयोभिः ॥
Soma ko daba kar nikaala ja raha hai. Woh peele rang ka hai aur chamak raha hai. Kapde se filter karke saaf kiya ja raha hai. Woh rath ki tarah tezi se aage badh raha hai. Jeet ke liye daud raha hai. Jab woh saaf ho raha hai to Indra jaisi shakti aa rahi hai. Devta usse apna prasad de ke accept kar rahe hain.
Mantra 2
अच्छा नृचक्षा असरत्पवित्रे नाम दधानः कविरस्य योनौ । सीदन्होतेव सदने चमूषूपेमग्मन्नृषयः सप्त विप्राः ॥
Soma ki nazar saaf hai aur woh filter ki taraf ja raha hai. Rishi ki soch mein apna naam liya hai. Woh pujari ki tarah baith jaata hai bowl mein. Saat rishi uske paas aate hain jo acchi soch rakhte hain.
Mantra 3
प्र सुमेधा गातुविद्विश्वदेवः सोमः पुनानः सद एति नित्यम् । भुवद्विश्वेषु काव्येषु रन्तानु जनान्यतते पञ्च धीरः ॥
Soma samajhdar hai aur raasta jaanta hai. Saare devta uske hain. Woh saaf hoke hamesha puja mein aata hai. Woh sab acche kaam mein khush rehta hai. Paanch tarah se logon mein apna kaam failaata hai.

तव त्ये सोम पवमान निण्ये विश्वे देवास्त्रय एकादशासः । दश स्वधाभिरधि सानो अव्ये मृजन्ति त्वा नद्यः सप्त यह्वीः ॥
Soma ji, jab tum saaf ho rahe ho, toh bhagwan log tumhare andar kaam kar rahe hain. Teenh aur gyarah milke, aur dus aur apni taakat ke saath. Ek oonchi jagah par, jahan oon jaisa naram kapda bichha hai, wahan tumhe saaf kiya ja raha hai. Saat badi nadiyan tumhe dhoke chamka rahi hain.

तन्नु सत्यं पवमानस्यास्तु यत्र विश्वे कारवः संनसन्त । ज्योतिर्यदह्ने अकृणोदु लोकं प्रावन्मनुं दस्यवे करभीकम् ॥
Yeh baat sach honi chahiye ki Soma jo saaf ho raha hai, uski apni ek baat hai. Jahan sab log milke kaam karte hain, wahan woh sach kaam hota hai. Usne din ke liye roshni ki duniya banayi. Usne Manu ki hifazat ki aur dushman ko andar kar diya.

परि सद्मेव पशुमान्ति होता राजा न सत्यः समितीरियानः । सोमः पुनानः कलशाँ अयासीत्सीदन्मृगो न महिषो वनेषु ॥
Woh aise ghoomta hai jaise koi pandit jaanwaron ke beech mein baitha ho. Sach bolta hai, jaise raja logon ke beech aata hai. Soma ji, jo saaf ho rahe hain, woh matke mein aa gaye hain. Wahan baith gaye jaise jungle mein koi jaanvar, koi bada bhains jaise apni jagah par ho.
