नकी रेवन्तं सख्याय विन्दसे पीयन्ति ते सुराश्वः । यदा कृणोषि नदनुं समूहस्यादित्पितेव हूयसे ॥

Transliteration

nákī revántaṃ sakhyā́ya vindase pī́yanti te surā́śvaḥ | yadā́ kṛṇóṣi nadanúṃ samū́hasy ā́dit pitā́iva hūyase ||

Translation

મિત્રતા માટે તારા કરતાં વધુ તેજસ્વી મિત્ર કોઈ પામતું નથી; તારા શુભ્ર-અશ્વવાળા બળો તને પીવે છે. જ્યારે તું ગર્જનારા પ્રવાહને ઊભો કરે છે અને તેને એકમાં એકત્ર કરે છે, ત્યારે તને પિતાની જેમ જ બોલાવે છે—કારણ કે તું આશ્રય આપતી એકતા રચે છે.
