Sukta 8.21
नकी रेवन्तं सख्याय विन्दसे पीयन्ति ते सुराश्वः । यदा कृणोषि नदनुं समूहस्यादित्पितेव हूयसे ॥
nákī revántaṃ sakhyā́ya vindase pī́yanti te surā́śvaḥ | yadā́ kṛṇóṣi nadanúṃ samū́hasy ā́dit pitā́iva hūyase ||
तेरे समान तेजस्वी मित्र सख्य के लिए कोई नहीं पाता; तेरे उज्ज्वल-अश्ववाले (रथ-बल) तुझे पीते हैं। जब तू नदनु (गर्जन-धारा) को रचता है और उसे एकत्र कर देता है, तब तू पिता के समान पुकारा जाता है—क्योंकि तू आश्रय देने वाली एकता का निर्माण करता है।
