Sukta 21

Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (attributed within the Atharvan corpus; specific r̥ṣi assignment varies by anukramaṇī tradition for this hymn). | Devata: Āyus (Long Life) / Varṇa (healthy complexion) as functional ‘deities’; implicitly the healing power resident in the charm. | 4 Mantras

Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (seer attribution varies by anukramaṇī for the surrounding hymn) | Devata: A propitiated protective/healing power (often addressed as a benevolent agent capable of both expulsion and grace; specific devatā depends on the hymn’s heading in the anukramaṇī) | 4 Mantras

Sukta 27

Rishi: Atharvanic/Angiras-type attribution (hymn-level assignment varies by anukramaṇī tradition; verse itself is weapon-apotropaic). | Devata: Rudra/Pināka as invoked power-symbol; the operative deity is the protective, weapon-bearing force that cuts and disperses evil. | 4 Mantras

Sukta 28

Rishi: Atharvanic/Angiras-type attribution (exact r̥ṣi for 1.28 requires full anukramaṇī data). | Devata: Counter-sorcery against a yātudhānī/witch-like female agent (functional ‘devatā’ is the addressed/targeted malefic power). | 4 Mantras

Sukta 30

Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (often transmitted under Atharvan/Angiras rubric; specific r̥ṣi attribution depends on anukramaṇī) | Devata: Viśve Devāḥ; Vasus; Ādityas (collective protective deities) | 4 Mantras
