Mystical Knowledge & Charms

Because it foregrounds sustained cosmological inquiry—especially the Skambha hymns and Prajāpati-centered questioning—linking ritual efficacy to reflections on what supports and orders the universe.
Skambha is the ‘cosmic Pillar’: a comprehensive support-principle that holds together worlds, directions, deities, and knowledge, expressed through wide-ranging correspondences (bandhu).
Ucchiṣṭa is the consecrated remnant (what remains after offering or eating). Kāṇḍa 10 treats it as a generative, sustaining potency—turning residue into a theological foundation for continuity and abundance.
