एवमुक्त्वा तदा ब्रह्मा दक्षं प्रोवाच बुद्धिमान् । गौरीं प्रयच्छ रुद्राय पूर्वमेवोपपादिताम् ॥ २१.८१ ॥

ครั้นตรัสดังนี้แล้ว พรหมผู้ทรงปัญญาจึงกล่าวแก่ทักษะว่า “จงมอบคาวรีแก่รุดระ ผู้ซึ่งได้ถูกกำหนด (หรือให้คำมั่น) ไว้แก่เขาตั้งแต่ก่อนแล้ว”
