Sukta 4.13
वहिष्ठेभिर्विहरन्यासि तन्तुमवव्ययन्नसितं देव वस्म । दविध्वतो रश्मयः सूर्यस्य चर्मेवावाधुस्तमो अप्स्वन्तः ॥
vahiṣṭhébhir vi-háran yāsi tántum ava-vyáyan ásitaṃ deva vásma | davídhvato raśmáyaḥ sū́ryasya cármevāvā́dhus támo apsv àntaḥ ||
ด้วยผู้แบกพาผู้ทรงฤทธิ์ยิ่งทั้งหลาย ท่านเคลื่อนไปข้างหน้า ทอเส้นด้ายให้ทอดลงมา โอ อำนาจอันสว่างไสว ท่านสลัดทิ้งผืนคลุมสีดำ รัศมีแห่งสุริยะที่ฟาดฟันและผ่าแยก ได้ขับความมืดให้จมลง ดุจลอกหนังออก แล้วผลักสู่ห้วงน้ำภายใน
