मन्द्रस्य कवेर्दिव्यस्य वह्नेर्विप्रमन्मनो वचनस्य मध्वः । अपा नस्तस्य सचनस्य देवेषो युवस्व गृणते गोअग्राः ॥

mandrásya kavér divyásya váhner viprámanmano vacanásya mádhvaḥ | apā́ naḥ tásya sacanásya deva íṣo yuvasva gṛṇaté go-agrāḥ ||

ఓ దేవా, మధురవాక్యముతో—దీప్తిమంతమైన మనస్సుతో నిండిన—మంద్ర కవి, దివ్య వహ్ని (దేవ-వాహకుడు) యొక్క ప్రేరణలను మా కొరకు పోషించుము. స్తుతించే గాయకుని కోసం, ఆ దేవ-సహచర్యపు శక్తులను వృద్ధి చేయుము—ముందుభాగంలో కాంతిరశ్ములతో.
