Sukta 7.39
नू रोदसी अभिष्टुते वसिष्ठैॠतावानो वरुणो मित्रो अग्निः । यच्छन्तु चन्द्रा उपमं नो अर्कं यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
nū rodasī abhiṣṭute vasiṣṭhaiḥ ṛtāvāno varuṇo mitro agniḥ | yacchantu candrā upamaṃ no arkaṃ yūyaṃ pāta svastíbhiḥ sadā naḥ ||
இப்போது, வசிஷ்டர்கள் த்யாவா‑பிருதிவியைப் புகழ்ந்து அழைக்கும்போது, ருதத்தைத் தாங்கும் வருணன், ஒற்றுமையாக்கும் மித்ரன், மேலும் அக்னி (தெய்வச் சித்தம்) இங்கு வருக. சந்திர‑ஒளி உடைய சக்திகள் எங்களுக்கு ஒளியின் உன்னத அர்க்கம் (ஸ்தோத்திரப் பாடல்) அருளட்டும்; மேலும், ஓ தேவர்களே, நீங்கள் எங்களை எப்போதும் ஸ்வஸ்தி மற்றும் நல்வழிப் பயணம் கொண்டு காத்தருளுங்கள்.
