Sukta 10
शं ते॑ अ॒ग्निः स॒हाद्भिर॑स्तु॒ शं सो॑मः स॒हौष॑धीभिः । ए॒वाहं त्वां क्षे॑त्रि॒यान्निरृ॑त्या जामिशं॒साद् द्रु॒हो मु॑ञ्चामि॒ वरु॑णस्य॒ पाशा॑त्। अ॒ना॒गसं॒ ब्रह्म॑णा त्वा कृणोमि शि॒वे ते॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी उ॒भे स्ता॑म्
śáṃ te agníḥ sahā́dbhir astu śáṃ sómaḥ sahóṣadhībhiḥ | evā́háṃ tvāṃ kṣetriyā́n nírṛtyā jāmíśaṃsād drúho muñcāmi váruṇasya pā́śāt | anāgásaṃ bráhmaṇā tvā kṛṇomi śivé te dyā́vā-pṛthivī ubhé stā́m ||
Weal be to thee: may Agni, with the Waters for his fellows, bring thee welfare; weal be to thee: may Soma, with the Herbs for his companions, bring thee welfare. Thus do I loose thee from the kṣetriya-plague, from Nirṛti, from the near-kin’s evil imprecation, from treachery; I release thee from Varuṇa’s noose. Guiltless by holy spell I make thee: gracious to thee may Heaven and Earth, both twain, stand firm.
