Sukta 8.39
तत्तदग्निर्वयो दधे यथायथा कृपण्यति । ऊर्जाहुतिर्वसूनां शं च योश्च मयो दधे विश्वस्यै देवहूत्यै नभन्तामन्यके समे ॥
tát-tad agnír váyo dadhé yáthā-yathā kṛpaṇyáti | ūrjā́hutiḥ vásūnāṃ śáṃ ca yóś ca máyó dadhé víśvasyai deváhūtyai nabhantām anyaké samé ||
Znowu i znowu Agni ustanawia pełnię życia stosownie do tego, jak ktoś aspiruje z potrzebą; ofiara siły dla Wasu, on umieszcza w nas pokój i dobrostan oraz rozkosz dla uniwersalnego wezwania Bogów - niech przeciwne moce zostaną wygnane gdzie indziej.
