ज्योतिर्यज्ञाय रोदसी अनु ष्यादारे स्याम दुरितस्य भूरेः । भूरि चिद्धि तुजतो मर्त्यस्य सुपारासो वसवो बर्हणावत् ॥

Transliteration

jyótir yajñā́ya ródasī́ ánu ṣyād ā́re syāma duritásya bhū́reḥ | bhū́ri cid dhí tujátó mártyasya su-pārā́so vasavo barháṇāvat ||

Translation

ଯଜ୍ଞକୁ ଅନୁସରି ଜ୍ୟୋତି ଚାଲୁ; ରୋଦସୀ—ଦ୍ୟାଉ ଓ ପୃଥିବୀ—ତାହାକୁ ଅନୁଗମନ କରୁ; ପ୍ରଚୁର ଦୁରିତରୁ ଆମେ ଦୂରେ ରହୁ। କାରଣ ତୁଜତ ମର୍ତ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ଅନେକ ଚାପ ପଡ଼େ; କିନ୍ତୁ ହେ ବସୁମାନେ, ତୁମେ ସୁପାରାସଃ—ଭଲଭାବେ ପାର କରାଇଦେବାଳେ—ବର୍ହଣାବତ୍—ଉଠାଇ ଓ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିବା ଶକ୍ତିଧାରୀ।
