प्राग्नये विश्वशुचे धियंधेऽसुरघ्ने मन्म धीतिं भरध्वम् । भरे हविर्न बर्हिषि प्रीणानो वैश्वानराय यतये मतीनाम् ॥

Transliteration

prā́gnáye viśvá-śúce dhiyáṃdhe ’sura-ghné mánma dhītíṃ bharadhvam | bháre havír ná bárhiṣi prīṇānó vaiśvānaráya yátaye matīnā́m ||

Translation

Majukanlah fikiran bagi Agni, Yang Maha-Menyucikan, pembunuh kuasa-kuasa yang memusuhi; bawalah sabda ilham dan kecerdasan yang melihat. Seperti yang dipuaskan di atas barhis (hamparan suci) laksana persembahan, ia berusaha bagi Vaiśvānara, penuntun bagi fikiran-fikiran kami.
