Sukta 9.97
स पुनान उप सूरे न धातोभे अप्रा रोदसी वि ष आवः । प्रिया चिद्यस्य प्रियसास ऊती स तू धनं कारिणे न प्र यंसत् ॥
sá punāná úpa sū́re ná dhātobhé aprā́ ródasī ví ṣá āvaḥ | priyā́ cíd yásya priyasā́sa ūtī́ sá tū́ dhánaṃ kāríṇe ná prá yaṃsat ||
ശുദ്ധനാകുന്ന അവൻ, സൂര്യന്റെ സമീപത്തെ ധാതാവുപോലെ, ആ രണ്ടു അപാര ‘രോദസി’—ഭൂമിയും ആകാശവും—വ്യാപിപ്പിച്ച്, അവയെ വേർതിരിച്ച് നിറച്ചു. പ്രിയമായതും—അവന്റെ പ്രിയ സഹായികളും ‘ഊതി’ (രക്ഷയും സഹായവും)—അവൻ തടഞ്ഞുവെക്കുകയില്ല; പ്രവർത്തകനു ധനം അവൻ പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
