Sukta 9.95
इष्यन्वाचमुपवक्तेव होतुः पुनान इन्दो वि ष्या मनीषाम् । इन्द्रश्च यत्क्षयथः सौभगाय सुवीर्यस्य पतयः स्याम ॥
íṣyan vā́cam upavaktéva hótuḥ punāná índo ví ṣyā manīṣā́m | índraś ca yát kṣáyathaḥ saúbhagāya su-vī́ryasya pátayaḥ syāma ||
ഹോതൃവിന്റെ ഉപവക്താവുപോലെ വാക്കിനെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച്, ഹേ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഇന്ദു (സോമ), നീ പ്രചോദനമായ മനീഷയെ വ്യാപിപ്പിക്കേണമേ. നീയും ഇന്ദ്രനും നമ്മുടെ സൗഭാഗ്യത്തിനായി വസിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ, സത്യത്തിൽ ദൃഢമായ സുവീര്യ (വീരശക്തി)ത്തിന്റെ അധിപതികളാകട്ടെ ഞങ്ങൾ.
