अभिक्रन्दन्कलशं वाज्यर्षति पतिर्दिवः शतधारो विचक्षणः । हरिर्मित्रस्य सदनेषु सीदति मर्मृजानोऽविभिः सिन्धुभिर्वृषा ॥
abhikrन्दán kalaśáṃ vājī́ arṣati pátir diváḥ śatá-dhāro vi-cakṣaṇáḥ | hárir mitrásya sádanēṣu sīdati marmṛjānó ’vi-bhiḥ síndhu-bhir vṛ́ṣā ||
ഘോഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് വാജി (ബലവാൻ) കലശത്തിലേക്ക് പാഞ്ഞുചേരുന്നു—ദിവത്തിന്റെ പതി, ശതധാരൻ, വിശാലദർശി. ഹരിതവർണ്ണ സോമൻ മിത്രന്റെ സദനങ്ങളിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവി (ആട്/ചെമ്മരി)യുടെ ഉണ്ണും നദികളുംകൊണ്ട് നന്നായി മർജ്ജിതനായി—വൃഷാ, പ്രബല ജനകശക്തി.
