कनिक्रदत्कलशे गोभिरज्यसे व्यव्ययं समया वारमर्षसि । मर्मृज्यमानो अत्यो न सानसिरिन्द्रस्य सोम जठरे समक्षरः ॥

kánikradat kalaśé góbhir ajyase ví avyáyaṃ samayā́ vā́ram arṣasi | marmṛ́jyamāno átyo ná sānásir índrasya soma jaṭháre sám akṣaraḥ ||

കലശത്തിൽ മുഴങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ട്, നീ ഗോഭിഃ (കിരണങ്ങൾ/രശ്മികൾ) കൊണ്ട് അഭിഷിക്തനാകുന്നു; യഥാസമയം അവ്യയ (അക്ഷയ) ചാലനത്തിലൂടെ വ്യവ്യയം (വ്യാപകമായി) ഒഴുകുന്നു. മർമൃജ്യമാന (ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവനായി), ജയത്തിനായി പായുന്ന അശ്വംപോലെ, ഹേ സോമ, നീ ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ ജഠരത്തിൽ ഒന്നായി ഒഴുകിച്ചേരുന്നു.
