Sukta 9.85
सहस्रणीथः शतधारो अद्भुत इन्द्रायेन्दुः पवते काम्यं मधु । जयन्क्षेत्रमभ्यर्षा जयन्नप उरुं नो गातुं कृणु सोम मीढ्वः ॥
sahasranī́thaḥ śatádhāro ádbhuta índrāyénduḥ pavate kā́myaṃ mádhu | jáyan kṣétram abhy àrṣā jáyann ápa urúṃ no gātúṃ kṛṇu soma mī́ḍhvaḥ ||
ആയിരം നയങ്ങളുള്ളവൻ, നൂറു ധാരകളുള്ളവൻ, അത്ഭുതൻ—ഇന്ദു ഇന്ദ്രനുവേണ്ടി ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, ആത്മാവ് ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ആനന്ദത്തിന്റെ മധുവായി. ക്ഷേത്രത്തെ ജയിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അതിന്മേൽ ഒഴുകുക; അപഃ (ജലങ്ങളെ) ജയിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ സോമ, മീഢ്വഃ (ഫലദായക ദാതാവേ), ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് വിശാലമായ ഗതി-മാർഗം ഒരുക്കുക.
