Sukta 9.72
नृबाहुभ्यां चोदितो धारया सुतोऽनुष्वधं पवते सोम इन्द्र ते । आप्राः क्रतून्त्समजैरध्वरे मतीर्वेर्न द्रुषच्चम्वोरासदद्धरिः ॥
nṛbā́hubhyāṃ coditó dhā́rayā sutó ’nu-svadháṃ pavate sóma indra te | āprā́ḥ kratū́n sám ajair adhvaré matī́r vēr ná druṣác camvór ā́ asadat dháriḥ ||
മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഭുജങ്ങളാൽ പ്രേരിതനായി, ധാരയിൽ പ്രകടിതനായ, സുധിതനായ സോമൻ തന്റെ തന്നെ ആനന്ദനിയമപ്രകാരം നിനക്കായി, ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ശുദ്ധിയായി ഒഴുകുന്നു. അധ്വരയജ്ഞത്തിൽ നീ ക്രതുക്കളെ (സങ്കൽപശക്തികളെ) പൂരിപ്പിച്ച് യുക്തമാക്കി; പക്ഷി തന്റെ വിശ്രമസ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് വരുന്നതുപോലെ, ഹരിതവർണ്ണനായ ഹരി പാത്രങ്ങളിൽ വന്നു ഇരുന്നു.
