Transliteration

sáṃ yan mahī́ mithátī spárdhamāne tanū́rucā śū́rasātā́ yátáite | ádevayuṃ vidáthe devayúbhiḥ satrā́ hataṃ somasútā́ jánena ||

Translation

മഹത്തായ വിരോധശക്തികൾ മത്സരത്തിൽ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടുമ്പോൾ, നിങ്ങൾ ഇരുവരും—സ്വദേഹത്തിലെ പ്രകാശത്തിൽ ദീപ്തരായി, ശൂരസാതാ (വീരപ്രശസ്തി) നേടിയവരായി—മുന്നേറുന്നു. യജ്ഞത്തിന്റെ വിദഥ-സഭയിൽ, ദേവയുജനങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം, അദേവയു (അദേവാശ്രിത) ശക്തിയെ പൂർണ്ണമായി സംഹരിക്കണമേ—ഹേ ജനങ്ങൾ സോമസുതി ചെയ്യുന്നവരേ.
