नू नो गोमद्वीरवद्धेहि रत्नमुषो अश्वावत्पुरुभोजो अस्मे । मा नो बर्हिः पुरुषता निदे कर्यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
nū́ no gómad vī́ravad dhehi rátnam uṣo áśvāvát puru-bhójo asmē | mā́ no bárhiḥ puruṣátā nidē ka yūyáṃ pāta svastí-bhiḥ sádā naḥ ||
ഇപ്പോൾ, ഹേ ഉഷസ്സേ, ഗോമത്യും വീരവത്യും—കിരണങ്ങളും വീര്യവും സമൃദ്ധമായ—രത്നം ഞങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് സ്ഥാപിക്കണമേ; അശ്വവത്, പുരുഭോജ—വിശാലാനുഭവദായക—ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി വരിക. ആരുടെയും നിന്ദയ്ക്ക് ഞങ്ങളുടെ ബർഹിഃ (യജ്ഞാസനം) ആകരുതേ; സ്വസ്തിഭിഃ—ക്ഷേമത്തിന്റെ സമരസങ്ങളാൽ—എപ്പോഴും ഞങ്ങളെ കാത്തരുളുക.
