सत्या सत्येभिर्महती महद्भिर्देवी देवेभिर्यजता यजत्रैः । रुजद्दृळ्हानि दददुस्रियाणां प्रति गाव उषसं वावशन्त ॥
satyā́ satyébhiḥ mahatī́ mahádbhir devī́ devébhiḥ yájatā yájatraiḥ | rujád dṛḷhā́ni dádad usríyāṇāṃ práti gā́va uṣásaṃ vāvaśanta ||
സത്യത്തോടു സത്യം, മഹത്തോടു മഹത്—ദേവി ഉഷസ് യജ്യരായ ദേവന്മാരോടൊപ്പം യജ്യയാണ്. ദൃഢബന്ധങ്ങൾ പൊട്ടിച്ച്, ഉസ്രിയാ—പ്രകാശകിരണങ്ങളുടെ ദീപ്ത കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ—വിതരിച്ച്, പ്രകാശത്തിന്റെ പശുക്കൾ ഉഷസ്സിനോടു പ്രതികരിച്ച് മുഴങ്ങുന്നു.
