प्रति द्युतानामरुषासो अश्वाश्चित्रा अदृश्रन्नुषसं वहन्तः । याति शुभ्रा विश्वपिशा रथेन दधाति रत्नं विधते जनाय ॥
práti dyutā́nām aruṣā́so áśvāś citrā́ adṛśran uṣásaṃ váhantaḥ | yā́ti śubhrā́ viśvá-piśā ráthena dádhāti rátnam vidhaté jánāya ||
ഉയർന്ന ലോകങ്ങളുടെ ദ്യുതിക്കെതിരെ അരുണവർണ്ണമായ, ചിത്രവർണ്ണമായ അശ്വങ്ങൾ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു—ഉഷസ്സിനെ വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്. സർവാലങ്കൃതമായ രഥത്തിൽ ആ ശുഭ്ര ഉഷസ് വരുന്നു; ഋതം (സത്യക്രമം) സേവിക്കാൻ സന്നദ്ധനായ വിധാതാവായ മനുഷ്യനിൽ അവൾ രത്നധനം സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നു.
