Sukta 7.104
सुविज्ञानं चिकितुषे जनाय सच्चासच्च वचसी पस्पृधाते । तयोर्यत्सत्यं यतरदृजीयस्तदित्सोमोऽवति हन्त्यासत् ॥
suvijñānáṃ cíkituṣe jánāya sác cā́sac ca vácasī paspṛdhāte | táyor yát satyáṃ yátarád ṛ́jīyas tád ít sómo ’vati hánty ásat ||
വിവേകമുള്ള മനുഷ്യന് വ്യക്തമായ ജ്ഞാനം ലഭ്യമാകുന്നു: സത്യവചനംയും അസത്യവചനംയും തമ്മിൽ മത്സരിക്കുന്നു. അവ രണ്ടിലും ഏത് സത്യമോ, ഏത് കൂടുതൽ ഋജുവായി ശരിയായ പാതയിൽ പോകുന്നതോ—അതിനെ സോമൻ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; അസത്യത്തെ അവൻ തകർക്കുന്നു.
