Sukta 7.104
न वा उ सोमो वृजिनं हिनोति न क्षत्रियं मिथुया धारयन्तम् । हन्ति रक्षो हन्त्यासद्वदन्तमुभाविन्द्रस्य प्रसितौ शयाते ॥
ná vā u sómo vṛjináṃ hinoti ná kṣatríyaṃ mithuyā́ dhāráyantam | hánti rákṣo hánty ásad vádantam ubhā́v índrasya prásitau śayāte ||
സോമൻ വക്രനായവനെ (വൃജിന) മുന്നോട്ട് തള്ളുന്നില്ല; മിഥ്യയെ പിടിച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്ന ക്ഷത്രിയനെയും അല്ല. അവൻ രക്ഷസ്സിനെ സംഹരിക്കുന്നു; അസത്യം പറയുന്നവനെയും സംഹരിക്കുന്നു—ഇരുവരും ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ പ്രേരിത ശക്തിയുടെ പരിധിയിലാണു കിടക്കുന്നത്.
