Sukta 6.68
उत नः सुत्रात्रो देवगोपाः सूरिभ्य इन्द्रावरुणा रयिः ष्यात् । येषां शुष्मः पृतनासु साह्वान्प्र सद्यो द्युम्ना तिरते ततुरिः ॥
utá naḥ su-trātró deva-gópāḥ sūríbhya indrāvaruṇā rayíḥ syāt | yéṣāṃ śúṣmaḥ pṛ́tanāsu sā́hvān prá sadyó dyumnā́ tiráte táturiḥ ||
ഞങ്ങള്ക്കും, ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാവരുണ—സുത്രാത്രന്മാരേ, ദേവഗോപന്മാരേ (ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കാവൽക്കാരേ)—സൂരിഭ്യഃ (പ്രകാശമുള്ള നേതാക്കൾ) ക്കായി റയി ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ. യുദ്ധങ്ങളിൽ ജയിക്കുന്ന ശുഷ്മ (ഉഗ്രബലം) ഉള്ളവരുടെ തതുരി (വേഗവിജയശക്തി) ഉടൻ തന്നെ ദ്യുമ്നങ്ങളെ (തേജസ്സുള്ള വൈഭവങ്ങളെ) കടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നു—സംഘർഷത്തിലൂടെ വെളിച്ചത്തെ പൂർണ്ണപ്രകടനത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്.
