Transliteration

ā́ sū́ryo na bhā́numadbhir arkáir agne tatántha rodasī́ ví bhāsā́ | citró nayat pári tamā́ṃsy aktáḥ śóciṣā pátmann auśijó na dī́yan ||

Translation

സൂര്യൻ കിരണഭരിതമായ സ്തുതികളോടെ ഉള്ളതുപോലെ, ഹേ അഗ്നേ, നീ നിന്റെ പ്രകാശത്തോടെ രണ്ടു ലോകങ്ങളെയും വ്യാപിപ്പിച്ചു. വർണവൈവിധ്യമുള്ള തേജസ്സോടെ, അഭിഷിക്തനായി, നീ അന്ധകാരങ്ങളെ ചുറ്റി നയിക്കുന്നു; വേഗചലനത്തിലുള്ള ജ്വാലയോടെ—ഔശിജനെപ്പോലെ—നീ യഥോചിതമായ പാത (കടന്നുപോകൽ) നൽകുന്നു.
