प्रातर्यजध्वमश्विना हिनोत न सायमस्ति देवया अजुष्टम् । उतान्यो अस्मद्यजते वि चावः पूर्वःपूर्वो यजमानो वनीयान् ॥
prā́tar yajadhvam aśvinā́ hinota ná sāyám asti deva-yā́ ájuṣṭam | utā́nyó asmád yajate ví cā́vaḥ pū́rvaḥ-pū́rvo yájamāno vánīyān ||
പ്രാതഃ യജിക്കുവിൻ; അശ്വിനൗയെ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുവിൻ. സായാഹ്നത്തിൽ ദേവമാർഗ്ഗമായ യാതൊരു അർപ്പണവും അവർക്കു പ്രീതികരമല്ല. ഞങ്ങളല്ലാത്ത മറ്റൊരാൾ യജിച്ചാലും—അവരുടെ സഹായത്തിൽ—ഓരോ മുൻകാല യജമാനനും കൂടുതൽ പ്രിയനാകുന്നു.
