आ यस्ते सर्पिरासुतेऽग्ने शमस्ति धायसे । ऐषु द्युम्नमुत श्रव आ चित्तं मर्त्येषु धाः ॥
Transliteration
ā́ yás te sarpir-āsuté ’gne śám asti dhā́yase | ā́ eṣú dyumnám utá śrávaḥ ā́ cíttaṃ mártyeṣu dhāḥ ||
Translation
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, നിനക്കായി ഘൃതസമൃദ്ധി ഒഴുക്കി അർപ്പിക്കുന്നവന്—നിന്റെ സ്ഥാപകശക്തി (ധായസേ)ക്കു ശാന്തിയുണ്ട്. ഈ മർത്ത്യരിൽ ദീപ്തമായ ദ്യുമ്നവും, പ്രചോദിത ശ്രവണവും, ജാഗ്രതചിത്തവും സ്ഥാപിക്കണമേ.
