अस्मा उक्थाय पर्वतस्य गर्भो महीनां जनुषे पूर्व्याय । वि पर्वतो जिहीत साधत द्यौराविवासन्तो दसयन्त भूम ॥
asmā́ ukthā́ya párvatasya gárbho mahī́nāṃ jánuṣe pū́rvyāya | ví párvato jihī́ta sā́dhata dyáur ā́vivāsanto dasayanta bhū́ma ||
ഈ സ്ഥിരീകരണ-ഉകഥത്തിനായി പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ മറഞ്ഞ ഗർഭം—മഹത്തുകളിൽ ജന്മത്തിൽ പ്രാചീനമായത്—തുറക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. പർവ്വതം വിശാലമായി പിളരുന്നു; ദ്യൗ (ആകാശം) അതിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്ത് സിദ്ധിക്കായി സ്ഥിരമാകുന്നു; ആരാധിച്ച് അവർ മഹത്തായ അടിത്തറയെ ഫലിപ്പിക്കുന്നു, ഭൂമിയെ കീഴടക്കുന്നു.
