सूक्तेभिर्वो वचोभिर्देवजुष्टैरिन्द्रा न्वग्नी अवसे हुवध्यै । उक्थेभिर्हि ष्मा कवयः सुयज्ञा आविवासन्तो मरुतो यजन्ति ॥
sūktébhiḥ vo vácobhir deva-júṣṭair índrā nv àgnī́ aváse huvádhyai | ukthébhir hí ṣmā kaváyaḥ su-yajñā́ ā́vivāsanto marúto yájanti ||
ദേവന്മാർ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്ന സുസൂക്തങ്ങളാലും സുവചനങ്ങളാലും ഞങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ സഹായത്തിനും ബലപ്രദാനത്തിനുമായി ഇന്ദ്രനെയും അഗ്നിയെയും ആവാഹിക്കുന്നു. കാരണം, ഉക്തികളാൽ യജ്ഞത്തിൽ നിപുണരായ കവികൾ മരുത്തുകളെ ഭക്തിപൂർവ്വം ആരാധിച്ച് യജിക്കുന്നു.
