Sukta 5.44
यो जागार तमृचः कामयन्ते यो जागार तमु सामानि यन्ति । यो जागार तमयं सोम आह तवाहमस्मि सख्ये न्योकाः ॥
yó jāgā́ra tám ṛ́caḥ kāmayante yó jāgā́ra tám u sāmā́ni yanti | yó jāgā́ra tám ayám sóma āha távā́ham asmi sakhyé nyòkāḥ ||
ആർ ജാഗരിതനായിരിക്കുന്നുവോ—അവനെ ഋചുകൾ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു; ആർ ജാഗരിതനായിരിക്കുന്നുവോ—അവന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് സാമഗാനങ്ങൾ നീങ്ങുന്നു. ആർ ജാഗരിതനായിരിക്കുന്നുവോ—അവനെക്കുറിച്ച് ഈ സോമൻ പറയുന്നു: ‘സഖ്യത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റേതാണ്, നിനക്കൊപ്പമിരിപ്പുള്ളവൻ.’
