Sukta 5.38
उतो नो अस्य कस्य चिद्दक्षस्य तव वृत्रहन् । अस्मभ्यं नृम्णमा भरास्मभ्यं नृमणस्यसे ॥
uto no asya kasya cid dákṣasya tava vṛtrahan | asmábhyaṃ nṛmṇám ā bharā́smábhyaṃ nṛmanasyase ||
അതുപോലെ, ഹേ വൃത്രഹൻ, നിനക്കുള്ള ഏതൊരു ദക്ഷ (പ്രഭാവശക്തി/കാര്യക്ഷമത)യുമാകട്ടെ, അതിൽ നിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് നൃമ്ണ (വീരബലത്തിന്റെ മാനവീയ പൂർണ്ണത) കൊണ്ടുവരിക; ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി നീ നൃ (വീരാത്മാവ്)യെ ചിന്തയും ഇച്ഛയുംകൊണ്ട് പൂർണ്ണതയിൽ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നവൻ ആകുന്നു.
