Sukta 5.31
उद्यत्सहः सहस आजनिष्ट देदिष्ट इन्द्र इन्द्रियाणि विश्वा । प्राचोदयत्सुदुघा वव्रे अन्तर्वि ज्योतिषा संववृत्वत्तमोऽवः ॥
údyat saháḥ sáhasa ā́janiṣṭa dédiṣṭa índra indríyāṇi víśvā | prá codayat sudúghā vavré antár ví jyótiṣā saṃvavṛtvát támo ’vaḥ ||
ബലത്തിൽ നിന്നു ബലം ഉദിച്ചു; ഇന്ദ്രാ, നിന്റെ എല്ലാ ഇന്ദ്രിയ-ശക്തികളും സമഗ്രമായി ദീപ്തമായി തെളിഞ്ഞു. അവൻ സുദുഘാ—സമൃദ്ധമായി ഒഴുകുന്ന ധാരകളെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചു; ഉള്ളിൽ ജ്യോതിസ്സോടെ വിരിഞ്ഞ്, താഴെയുള്ള തമസ്സിനെ അവൻ മൂടി.
