Sukta 5.3
वयमग्ने वनुयाम त्वोता वसूयवो हविषा बुध्यमानाः । वयं समर्ये विदथेष्वह्नां वयं राया सहसस्पुत्र मर्तान् ॥
váyam agne vanuyāma tvó(t)ā vasūyávo havíṣā búdhyamānāḥ | vayáṃ samaryé vidátheṣv áhnāṃ vayáṃ rāyā sahasaspútra mártān ||
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, നിന്റെ ഓട (രക്ഷ) കൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ ജയിക്കട്ടെ—വസുവിനെ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർ, ഹവിഷോടെ ജാഗരൂകരായി. ദിവസങ്ങളുടെ വിദഥങ്ങളിൽ, പൊതുസമരത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ; ഹേ സഹസിന്റെ പുത്രാ, റായാ (രയി) യുടെ സമൃദ്ധിയാൽ ഞങ്ങൾ മർത്ത്യരുടെ ശക്തികളെ ജയിക്കട്ടെ.
