Transliteration
ásya stóme maghónaḥ sakhyé vṛ́ddha-śociṣaḥ | viśvā́ yásmin tuvi-sváṇi sám aryé śúṣmam ādadhuḥ ||
Translation
ഈ സ്തോമത്തിൽ, മഘവൻ (ഉദാരദാതാവ്) എന്നവന്റെ സഖ്യതയിൽ, വൃദ്ധശോചിഷ് (വർധിക്കുന്ന തേജസ്സുള്ള) ശക്തികൾ വിശാലമായി മുഴങ്ങുന്ന ആര്യയിൽ അവരുടെ മുഴുവൻ ശൗര്യബലം ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂട്ടുന്നു—സമരത്തിന് ആവശ്യമായ ശുഷ്മം (പരാക്രമം) അന്തർവീരൻ ധരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്.
