अग्ने कदा त आनुषग्भुवद्देवस्य चेतनम् । अधा हि त्वा जगृभ्रिरे मर्तासो विक्ष्वीड्यम् ॥
Transliteration
agné kadā́ ta ānuṣág bhúvad devásya cétanam | ádhā hí tvā jagṛbhriré mártāso víkṣv ī́ḍyam ||
Translation
ഹേ അഗ്നി, നിനക്കായി ദൈവത്വത്തിന്റെ അവിച്ഛിന്ന ജാഗരണം എപ്പോൾ ഉണ്ടാകും? കാരണം അപ്പോൾ തന്നെയാണ് മർത്ത്യർ നിന്നെ പിടിച്ചു ഉറപ്പായി നിലനിർത്തുന്നത്—കുലങ്ങളിൽ ആരാധ്യനായി.
