ऊर्ध्व ऊ षु णो अध्वरस्य होतरग्ने तिष्ठ देवताता यजीयान् । त्वं हि विश्वमभ्यसि मन्म प्र वेधसश्चित्तिरसि मनीषाम् ॥
ūrdhvó u ṣú ṇo adhvarasyá hotar agne tíṣṭha deva-tātā́ yajī́yān | tváṃ hí víśvam abhyási mánma prá védhasaś cít tirási manīṣā́m ||
ഞങ്ങള്ക്കായി നിശ്ചയമായി ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽക്കുക, ഹേ അധ്വര-യജ്ഞത്തിന്റെ ഹോതൃ; ഹേ അഗ്നേ, ദേവതാതാ (ദേവസ്ഥാപകൻ), അത്യന്തം യജ്യൻ, നിലകൊള്ളുക. നീ ഞങ്ങളുടെ സർവ്വ മനസ്സിനെയും ആവരണം ചെയ്യുന്നു; ഹേ വേധസ്, നീ പ്രചോദിതരുടെ മണീഷയുടെ വിവേകചിത്തം—ബോധശക്തിയെ മുന്നോട്ട് വഹിക്കുന്നവൻ.
