अहमपो अपिन्वमुक्षमाणा धारयं दिवं सदन ऋतस्य । ऋतेन पुत्रो अदितेॠतावोत त्रिधातु प्रथयद्वि भूम ॥
Transliteration
ahám apó apinvam ukṣámāṇā dhāráyaṃ dívaṃ sádana ṛtásya | ṛténa putró áditeḥ ṛtā́vā utá tri-dhā́tu prathayád ví bhū́ma ||
Translation
ഞാൻ ജലങ്ങളെ ഉപ്പിച്ചു—വർധന ചൊരിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട്; ഋതത്തിന്റെ സദനത്തിൽ ദ്യൗ (സ്വർഗ്ഗം) ഞാൻ ധരിച്ചു. ഋതത്താൽ, അദിതിയുടെ പുത്രൻ—ഋതാവാൻ—ത്രിധാതു (ത്രിവിധ അടിത്തറ) വ്യാപിപ്പിച്ചു, ഭൂമിയെ വിശാലമാക്കി.
