Sukta 4.27
गर्भे नु सन्नन्वेषामवेदमहं देवानां जनिमानि विश्वा । शतं मा पुर आयसीररक्षन्नध श्येनो जवसा निरदीयम् ॥
gárbhe nú sán anvéṣām avedam aháṃ devā́nāṃ jánimāni víśvā | śatáṃ mā púra ā́yasīr arakṣann ádha śyéno jávasā nír adīyam ||
ഗർഭത്തിലിരിക്കെ തന്നെയും ഞാൻ അന്വേഷിച്ച് ദേവന്മാരുടെ എല്ലാ ജന്മങ്ങളും അറിഞ്ഞു. ഇരുമ്പിന്റെ നൂറു കോട്ടകൾ എന്നെ കാത്തു; പിന്നെ ഞാൻ ശ്യേനൻ (പരുന്ത്) ആയി, ബലത്തിന്റെ വേഗത്തിൽ പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു പറന്നു—ബന്ധിക്കുന്ന മതിലുകളിൽ തടഞ്ഞുവെച്ചിരുന്ന ഗൂഢജ്ഞാനത്തെ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു.
