तव त्विषो जनिमन्रेजत द्यौ रेजद्भूमिर्भियसा स्वस्य मन्योः । ऋघायन्त सुभ्वः पर्वतास आर्दन्धन्वानि सरयन्त आपः ॥

Transliteration

táva tviṣó jániman rejata dyáu rejád bhū́mir bhiyásā svásya mányoḥ | ṛghā́yanta subhvàḥ पर्वatāsa ā́rdan dhánvāni sárayante ā́paḥ ||

Translation

നിന്റെ ദീപ്തമായ ശക്തിയുടെ ജനനത്തിൽ ദ്യൗ (ആകാശം) വിറച്ചു; നിന്റെ തന്നെ മന്യു (ക്രോധം) എന്ന ഭയത്തിൽ ഭൂമി നടുങ്ങി. ഉയർന്ന പർവതങ്ങൾ കുലുങ്ങി; വരണ്ട നിലങ്ങൾ നനഞ്ഞു; ജലങ്ങൾ ഒഴുകിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു—സത്യത്തിലേക്ക് ലോകത്തെ ഗതിമാനമാക്കാൻ നിന്റെ ശക്തി ഉയർന്നപ്പോൾ.
