अयमु वां पुरुतमो रयीयञ्छश्वत्तममवसे जोहवीति । सजोषाविन्द्रावरुणा मरुद्भिर्दिवा पृथिव्या शृणुतं हवं मे ॥

ayám u vāṃ purutámo rayīyáñ chaśvattamáṃ ávase johavīti | sajóṣāv indrāvaruṇā marúdbhir divā́ pṛthivyā́ śṛṇutaṃ hávaṃ me ||

ഈ (ഋഷി) നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന സമ്പത്തിനായി, ദീർഘകാല സഹായത്തിനായി, നിങ്ങളിരുവരെയും അത്യന്തം സമൃദ്ധമായി ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര–വരുൺ, മരുതുകളോടൊപ്പം, ദ്യൗവും പൃഥ്വിയും നിന്നു, എന്റെ ഹവൻ-വിളി കേൾക്കുക.
